The Lottery by Shirley Jackson was a very caught off guard story from the title. when just reading the title theres not much to expect from the story but it to be about a lottery. I liked the story because that specific reason it was so shocking at the end of it. Any story that has a twist at the end of it takes my interest. I would recommend the story to someone but just because I liked it so I'm going based off my opinion. Even though the moral behind it wasn't so great.

I like your reason for recommending this story to someone. I didn't like "The Lottery" so much but I still want others to read it since I want them to see and to acknowledge the special and cruel tradition of a small town that we did know.
